Kajal and Antonio’s Civil Ceremony & Indian Engagement Ceremony

Easter Monday 2017

Easter Monday morning at Robert Denholm House was a hive of activity and gorgeous aromas as Mohan’s Catering prepared their delicious cuisine!

Our stunning Bride and her gorgeous Bridesmaids getting ready at Robert Denholm House

The Belvedere Room used for the Civil Ceremony was beautifully simple with limewashed chivari chairs, decorative bird cages on the fireplace and mirror box centre pieces with artificial floral bouquets on the Registrar table.

The Bride and Bridesmaids gem bouquets were lovingly made by hand as a gift from the Groom’s Sister.

Guests were welcomed by the charming Niche London String Quartet.

The Entrance of the Bride was made to “Beauty and the Beast” by Howard, Ashman – as the guests looked on with teary eyes. During the signing of the register the quartet played “I’m Yours” by Jason Mraz and “Here Comes The Sun” by the Beatles. Dancing out to “Shut Up and Dance” by Walk the Moon, the energy in the room was electric!

While the Bride and Groom changed into traditional dress, guests enjoyed Mohan’s cocktail canapés of Samosa, Pakora, Spring Roll and Papri Chaat and continued to listen to a fantastic range of music from the talented Niche London String Quartet.

Reminisce Events Décor and Floristry used an ivory and gold theme to complement their starlit backdrop, designer sofa and floral pedestals in The Capenor Room for the Indian Engagement Gifting Ceremony.

Following the ceremony guests enjoyed an assisted buffet.

The menu consisted of Chilli Paneer, Gobi Manchurian, Kachori, battered Massalla Fish, Chicken Curry, Mixed Daal, Tawa Vegetables, Rice, Plain Dhal, Naan, Salad and Ras Malai.

The delicious egg-free cupcakes by Caketastic quickly disappeared as guests happily chatted and the children played and danced along to the fabulous selection of music the couple had chosen.

The majority of these delightful moments were captured by Salaur and his team at Epic Media who have kindly provided me with the photographs used for this blog.

Meet the Suppliers

“My wife & I had our Civil Marriage and Indian Gifting ceremony over the Easter Weekend 2017. The venue is absolutely stunning, the interior has recently been renovated and the outdoor grounds are amazing for pictures. We would like to say a special thank you to Charlotte who helped plan all of our events on the day. She did an amazing job and we received many compliments on how well the day was run. We would also like to extend our thanks to Andrew and the team who helped with bar duties in addition to turning the rooms round.

Robert Denholm House is truly a magical venue for any occasion, it really stands out for weddings and will leave your family and friends talking for years to come.”
